OUT OF THE BOX

Have you checked the people living in a slum? Their mindset is the same.

They don't believe they can ever make it in life.

I read "THE PARABLE OF THE BOX" by Leke Alder

I was amazed at how he used the box to analyse the situation we found ourselves especially those living in houses very common in Lagos known as "face me, I face you" where we use the Gen I better pass my neighbor are.

He used the building to term what limits us, we usually don't see reasons why we should leave that our comfort to face a bigger dream or future.

We are enclosed in the box but we can only get out of the box if we are intentional and willing.

This book teaches us how to escape from the box. Just imagine you are in the box, all you do is walk round and round still stalk in the same box.

How do you jump out of the box?
How do you leave the box and don't get stalked somewhere?

Its a short book about 12 pages I am willing to share with anyone who will promise to value it.

Message me on Whatsapp: 07015534884 with "THE BOX" and I will share it willingly

TIME TO KILL

TIME TO KILL
-----------------------
It was Christmas, Emeka a 25 years old man has spent the early stage of his life in the city.
He left home at the age of 13 and now he has made it and has decided to go see his people and also show them the beautiful lady he wants to marry.

As it's common with the Igbos, at a tender age, they leave the village to the city in pursuit of greener pastures. Finally, Emeka found wealth and it will be necessary to go back to his people.
When he arrived, everyone was happy to see Emeka again, they couldn't believe their sight. At first, they didn't recognize him, not until he stepped out of his car.

"You are now a big man", said his Uncle as Emeka steps down from the car.

The atmosphere was filled of happiness and everyone was in celebration mode. They all ate and merry all through until it's night.

Two days after Emeka arrived with his fiance, he introduced his fiance to his parents. They were also happy for him for taking such great step at such age.

Just like you have watched in Nigerian movies, Nigerian mother's especially the Igbo tribe are happy to see their sons getting married early just to make sure they see their grand children.

He once again introduce the lady he came back with, not as a friend this time but as a wife. The  happiness in their midst suddenly disappeared.

"Titi is a beautiful and a good woman. I think she should be every man's desire, but it's unfortunate that you can not marry her". The mother concluded after isolating him from the rest.

Just then, the Father added "How can you be too quick to forget? Don't you remember the custom of our land? You can't marry a lady that is not from here."

Emeka was speechless," what a custom", he muttered

Only if the she was from here, the custom would have favoured her.

To you my reader, Tribalism has killed us and the worse is that our customs and beliefs has added to the injury.

We cry out for racism but here in Nigeria, something greater than that is eating us up.

Just last week, I heard of how Ondo state governor appointed an Igbo lady as a special adviser and the people cried out for her removal and I am sure it will happen like that too if it Happens in the eastern or northern part of this country.

How can we achieve unity in diversity of we can't tolerate our tribes. This sickness is worse than tribalism. It's amongst us black

Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik, Ibibio, etc
Is our skin colour different?

Food for thought.

WHY WE ARE LIMITED

The whole thing got me craked up. I discovered I should have been better than who I used to be.

So that day, while I was studying in my library, I found this article in a writers magazine that mesmerized me.

The lady was telling her story of how she Started out as a writer. In her words;

Then, I usually thought I am no good for this that those international names and best sellers are better than I am. Only then I found out that we are on the same page even though I might be better than them

You only remain here because you never took a step. You are waiting to attain perfection before you write or you are waiting for university degree to be a certified a writer.

I only discovered how good I was after I made up my mind to write and to consistently do so.
Mind you, the journey was tough. Filled with challenges.
The worse is procastination. I struggled with a whole a lot but, they are history now

I sailed through when I told myself there was no other way.

She concluded.

While I was reading, it came to my knowledge that I have been holding myself back all along.

You that you are reading this, did you know where you should have been by now if you had carried out that plan you inhabits in your mind?

Definitely, I know two things that would have happened,

1. Either you have failed woefully and regreting or
2. You are on point winning.

Whichever way, if you lose, you learn your lesson. Whenever I carry out a task and fail, did you know I see it as win? Yes, because in as much as I lost, I have gained experience and lessons that when I am going back tomorrow I can easily avoid it.

And if you win, you know what you did right and improve on it to avoid failures.

We take that risk of not starting out not knowing that that is the greatest risk.

The worse decision you can take in life is playing it safe not forgetting that you also need OT.

So on her journey as a writer, she took the bold step to write. She made me understand that

1. Why most writers are relevant than others is because some took the step to write even when they are not perfect. They conquered the fear of being mocked.

2. She made mention of being consistent, even when you don't know what to write, write anyways. Make it a daily routine to write and to deliver in this area, get an accountability partner.

3. Accountability partner is someone that pushes you to be better, he motivates and make sure you are consistent with that which you said you will do or are already doing. Get one today so you can be accountable.

Don't forget to get the book, "CHASE YOUR DREAM." This book will give you a refreshed mind towards pursuing that your abandoned dream. Ask me for helping how to get started

THERE IS TRULY GOD

How much do we keep up with this
This land is no safe place again to stay.

Today, racism
Tomorrow, rape
Next, killings

I weep for mankind. I cry for you and I because we are heading towards destruction if we continue like this.

Let's have a rethink.

The worse is that People gathered mural to come online to drag God.
When did we get here?
How did we get here?

What a world
Just a quick reminder
God is merciful, slow to anger

You doubt the existence of God but you wake up every morning.

The free air you breath everyday should be enough to tell you that there is a God somewhere.

Go and ask people that use life support.

God have mercy
I don't care about your religion, have it in mind that God exist

WHY GIVE UP

I looked back at what I have been able to achieve during the past month.

Nothing much, i have just been the Chizoba everyone knows.

I have given up hopes, dreams and aspirations.

What next for me?

I tried writing, designing, Videography, forex trading and a whole lot but it's ain't working.

I could just kick the bucket and end it all. Yeah, I should do that and I won't have to worry again about this whole thing.

Corona, so much hunger, no money, no passion, no zeal, no consistency, no love, plenty haters, etc

Why should I? When life is too sweet.

So one day while I was just seated and chatting and checking status on Whatsapp I discovered a movement, a movement of consistency and commitment.

It was like an Anthem on my status, from different people. It awakened me.

I gained a sense of responsibility and belonging. I had back my burning zeal. It brought me back to life.

I didn't only answer the call, I embraced it and loh and behold, I am in the journey.

I escaped my fears and frustrations and it saved me.

 What an escape,

Now to you reading this, there are things you post on your status or timeline that people read are not commenting on.

Don't stop posting it, you are actually making impact just that they are not complimenting you.

Strife to never give up
